Happy Tails

The best part of this day was waking up

Not feeling anger toward anything or anyone

Feeling fresh air on my skin

Hearing quiet as the day begins

Watching dogs play without a care

Wagging their happy tails as they dare

Exploring their world

Chasing squirrels

All are friends

Feeling free and safe

No pain or strife

Sleeping with full bellies

Dreaming of rabbits and running

Tomorrow will be a good day
